Brittney & David 10.16.16

The First Conversation: Just as Brittney was about to delete her OkCupid account, a message popped up from another user saying hello. Little did she know that the user would turn into her future husband, David! Talk about a great ad for OkCupid!

The Proposal: After dating awhile, David built up the courage to visit Brittney’s father at their home to ask for Brittney’s hand. After getting his blessing, David didn’t waste anytime and proposed to her that night! With their song playing in the living room, David got down on one knee as Brittney walked into the room. It was a one word perfect answer of “YES!” that began an engagement celebration with the family.

Then wedding planning began.

The Wedding: After much preparation and only six months of planning, Brittney and David wed on October 16th, 2016. With their ceremony and reception at The Haight, guests were inspired by all the fun Fall elements they brought into their wedding. Luckily for them, the weather that day was absolutely perfect for the wonderful couple.

“Everything felt like a dream. I loved the venue, it was exactly what I always pictured my wedding to be! I wanted to get married somewhere rustic and with character and with my mom’s help with decorations it was better than I could have ever dreamed of” – Brittney

With pumpkins painted white, baby’s breath, tubs of popcorn, and eclectic lanterns, it was a perfect Fall themed wedding.

On top of being the perfect wedding venue for Brittney, it was special for David as well.  His father actually worked in a factory that once occupied the building, before The Haight became the venue it is today!

With a grand sparkler exit, Brittney and David ended their night as husband and wife.
